The Darlington Volunteer Fire Company is currently recruiting members for its Fire, EMS, and Administrative/Support divisions. Anyone interested in joining please stop by one of the stations for an application or fill out an online application from the toolbar. There are numerous benefits to joining the volunteer fire company including tax credits, lots of free job related training which can be used as college credits, LOSAP, and much more. All of this information will be available during the membership interview so stop by and see if your interested.

This unit is our first due unit to all vehicle accidents and vehicle fires.

Equipment includes: Dual Hurst Trimo pumps with 6 pre-connected hydraulic reels, One Hurst Simo portable pump, a full set of Rescue 42 struts with related straps and attachments, Full set of turtle plastic cribbing with two sets of various size step chocks, a fully equipped tool box, RIT pack with all needed rope, webbing, taglines and equipment along with a rapid air transport bag with universal connections, etc…

This unit is primarily equipped for Swiftwater and Flood Rescue responses. It also has an extensive rope rescue inventory with related hardware and accessories.

Other special equipment includes: Nightvision goggles, HID boxlights, Pelican remote area lighting systems, portable generator, stokes basket stretcher, ice rescue suits, and spare SWT gear.
